The drama, Aanak Ni Waray Vs Anak Ni Biday, was directed by Munshi Viduthalai Thirunaland. This is a remake of the original Tamil film Mere Muldoon. It is one of the well known anak ni drama movies and has recently been released on DVD.
The story is based on the famous legend “The Paduka of the Padukone” which had been made popular by the movie “Dangal” starring Neha Dhupia. Danai Kumari is the character played by the popular superstar Shahrukh Khan. However, he has not really got to perform in this movie.

Although it was not supposed to be made on the same scale as the other movies that have been made, the fact remains that it can be considered as the sequel to the movie “Dangal”.
